I started Zalani Studio after years of spending good money on jewelry that kept letting me down.

Brands I trusted started cutting corners. Thinner metals, hollower construction, cheaper gold composition. And the things that were still well-made? Everyone had them. I could walk into a store and buy the same piece as anyone else, and it stopped feeling like mine.

So I started learning about supply chains, sourcing my own materials, and making pieces myself. Gold-filled metals, plated brass, genuine gemstones, Czech glass and crystals. All assembled by hand, by me, from my home studio. If I wouldn't grab it off my own jewelry stand on a Monday morning, it doesn't get listed.

Gold and silver prices are volatile. Rather than cut quality for profit, I use plated brass on a lot of pieces. The premium pieces are gold-filled, which is a bonded layer rather than a coating. The rest use gold or rhodium plating over brass, priced to bring you the greatest value. Durable, accessible, well made.

I only make a few new pieces every month. I want to create and grow slowly so this passion never becomes a chore. Everything is made by hand with great attention to detail. It also means if you're wearing something from Zalani Studio, not many other people are. You had to find me to get it.

By day, I work in consulting. By night, and early mornings, and weekends, I'm at my workbench making jewelry I want to wear.

Nice to meet you. Take a look around.
